WHO I AM
Scholarly expertise.
Operational experience.
I am a gender-based violence prevention and response consultant with a background spanning formal scholarly inquiry, federal program administration, and direct survivor services. My work is grounded in the empirical evidence connecting childhood sexual abuse to adult revictimization risk, a lifespan framework that drives every service I deliver, from primary prevention education through organizational accountability consulting.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and an Associate Clinical Social Worker license in California. I am a doctoral candidate in Social Work at California Baptist University, with degree conferral anticipated in August 2026. My work focuses on sexual revictimization during military service, institutional betrayal, and leadership response to disclosure.

What Makes Krystal Geddes Consulting LLC Different
Krystal Geddes Consulting LLC occupies a distinct position in the gender-based prevention and response consulting space. No identified competitor combines military program administration experience, scholarly expertise on sexual revictimization, and a lifespan prevention framework grounded in the evidence connecting childhood sexual abuse to adult revictimization risk. Most consultants operate at one end of the prevention-response continuum. This consultancy addresses the full arc because the evidence demands it.
Practitioner-Scholar Identity
Clients receive research-informed analysis and operational field experience.
Institutional Betrayal Framework
Smith and Freyd's (2014) institutional betrayal theory anchors the consultancy and training work.
Lifespan Prevention Scope
From consent education for children through trauma-informed leadership training, the consultancy addresses the full prevention and response continuum across sectors.
MISSION
Why This Work Matters
Krystal Geddes Consulting LLC equips institutional and organizational leaders to prevent gender-based violence, respond to disclosure with trauma-informed competence, and build cultures where neither is treated as optional.
Through consulting, training, and speaking, I close the gap between protective policy and the outcomes survivors actually experience when institutions fail to prevent harm or compound it through inadequate response.
VISION
A future where institutions across every sector, from K-12 schools through military commands, and every person, from childhood through adulthood, is protected by systems designed to prevent gender-based violence, where responders are equipped to meet disclosure without causing further harm, and where organizational cultures treat prevention and accountability as non-negotiable expectations.
